Hi, looking for a floppy disk drive for my A500, it's finally died!

Man sorry I don't have a spare but if your floppy can be on check this video, it helped me fixing mine, or else good luck finding one.

Don't mention that :) My problem was the detect switch next to write protection, I put a drop of glue on top (careful not to go in the body of the nail) and it took about +1 mm height. now the drive works fine.

Also you can convert a pc floppy, it's quite easy. You just need some modifications on case too so it can fit well. On A1200 is easy, on A500 a bit harder (fitting- the mod is the same on floppy).

You can use an A1010 or a 1581 drive as a full replacement.
