Hi,
I am going through my extra Amiga stuff trying to make space. I've sold most extra things off but I still have one item:
- it's a revision 6.3 A2000 with the latest chip set (ECS) and WB3.1 ROM. Bare bones. No keyboard or floppy drives, no top cover and no drive tray (it was taken out of a tower conversion kit). It's essentially a very nice, clean working motherboard and power supply + backplane.
I've heard that bare A2000s aren't going for much these days, and this isn't even a full A2000. The only exceptional thing about it is that it is the very last revision Mobo & chip set made for the A2000 line.
I'm trying to decide if I should just keep it for spare parts / future use. If it's only going to sell for $50, then it's not really worth selling - as eBay's & PayPal's cut would really eat into that pittance.
If it is worth $100US or more, maybe then, but somehow I'm doubtful it could fetch that (unless someone is really looking for this particular revision).
I am a little tight for storage space, so I could keep it, but would have to really jiggle things around.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Stash or sell? Trading might be another option.

I'm sure someone would be interested in it for spares :)
I'm not sure how much A2000 sell for in Canada, in UK they're pretty common and go quite cheap but Canada & USA is a different market.
You could set a price and ask for near offers, that way if it's too high you should hopefully get some offers.

Yeah, I guess that is what I'm looking for....offers from interested parties otherwise I'll just keep it for parts.

I may be interested depending on the cost to ship and what your feel good price is.

Shipping is going to be expensive (A2000 is heavy and big). Costs, well I have no idea, that's why I started this thread.

Yeah, that is the issue. I bought my A2000 (rev 4.3) for about 110 and that was with shipping from Pennsylvania to Oregon and it was complete with a scsi card. You do have the sought after mobo, and it will probably be lighter with all the bits missing, but it is an incomplete system.
I don't want to lowball you, as it is a nice mobo. I would honestly look for a close by buyer to keep your in pocket higher.
