I'd like to put a sticker in the front of my tower that would make it quickly recognised as an Amiga. Is there any hi-res picture around with the boing ball and the "AmigaOne" text, which I could print on a blank sticker? It should also indicate wherever it's an G3SE, G3XE or G4XE.
If no one has ever made it, it would be great to create one that would be set as a standard for all A1s. I already have that "Powered by Amiga" sticker that CUamiga gave some years ago, but I don't think it's appropriate for an A1.

yes i agree, this should be printed by eyetech or what ever and i would hope hyperion sends out a sticker along with os4 atleast..
oh well....

@ Vathall
Well, seeing you like the Amiga, maybe even own one, albeit a 'classic', what's keeping you from designing your own one? Does it needly be done by an artist of some fame? Or maybe even on a Mac because of its hyped graphics caps? The Amiga is praised all over and touted for its superior graphics capabillities. Well then, show the world a bit what you can do with an Amiga! :-o
Have fun,

Perhaps you could get a t-shirt printed

As it turns out, I guess I'll have to make one by myself... but first I have to find a compatible ram module for my A1 :) Hey, maybe we could run a competition!

The competition thing would be cool. I'd say look into some labeler software to design your "Powered By Amiga" sticker. There's got to be something out there that is specialized for any type of labels and is consumer friendly (price and ease of use wise).

Hey, that's a good idea about the competition. I may certainly join it. Who's gonna put the verdict? Whom arranges the Oscars? Where can we drop the results of our hard labour?
Cheers

@Varthall
Check here. Maybe there is something you can use:

A Case logo?
Something like this?

Here's an early classic . . . pre-Commodore, in fact, but updated for our needs:

-EDIT-

where?
-
Here (http://amiga.emugaming.com/1stamiga.gif)
Edit: Okay, that's weird. It happens sometimes, the image doesn't show up.
-
Every amiga case should have AMIGA stamped in the case like the Commodore ones, period. You may not even like it but in terms of market it's the best way to target old users. There is also the price factor but I think the benefits are much bigger. I can't stress it enouph. If this doesn't happend then whoever is on charge of marketing is dumb, or hasn't been an Amiga user in the "golden years".

It was a cheap & free way to draw attention to a "not ready for prime time OS". :-P

Yes, because after all, isn't this the main reason of going for that solution? /me hides ;-) :-D

In addition to those, you could also let yourself be inspired by these styles (they are all being used currently):

Or why not this one, with a somewhat nostalgic touch:

Have fun printing your stickers! :-)
Chers!

@ takemehomegrandma
Nice. I can have 1 for the case, 1 for the mouse, 1 for the keyboard, 1 for the monitor and 1 for the printer.
And 2 extras. Guess I'll have to buy a scanner now. Any ideas for the last one?
-
Random lump of knowledge:
-Print on watercolor paper (make sure your printer is set for 'envelope' thickness... and/or don't use your good printer)
-Slap some clear packing tape over the watercolor paper to laminate
-Trim with X-Acto
-Adhere to case-badge-spot with a thin 'poster-mounting' double-stick square.

Why not on the box, or on the manual? The CD's perhaps? No, now I know, make a T-shirt! :-o :-D ;-)

Heh, I remember making those at the bottom of that page. "The company name 'Eyetech' is not made an integral part of the logo to not restrict future use of the logo with other models" was of course written before Fleecy admitted that the "AmigaOne" trademark in fact belongs to Eyetech... :P
[edit: If someone actually wants to print those logos, PM me. I think I've still got them in higher resolution for printing]

Now that's a consistent and clear graphic profile! But they need even more logos! More colour schemes! More typefaces! Moooore boingballs!!! Moooooore!
:P

When the trademark jacks up hardware prices by 60%, one could expect to at least get a sticker with that precious trademark.
-
Re. my post above and TMHG.
With the "Amiga" trademark being AInc's only "product", wouldn't it make sense for them to at least try not to dilute its value even further with this graphic schizophrenia?
-
@ Seehund
Yeah, Amiga Inc has been totally clueless about brand management since day 1. This "graphic schizophrenia" as you put it is only one example, an example of visual kind.
Not that it matters anymore ...
BTW, I wonder what they would get if they tried to sell the brand today? I imagine that it would only be a fraction of what "Amino" originally paid.
