Title: iWin you Lose

hmmn, first post in quite a while, anyways.......

Anyone here remember the whole iWin episode with the 68K and PPC machines that were supposedly developed by some previously un-heard of company that vanished just a quick.

It was quite an elaborate scheme, and even got coverage in Amiga Format (that's where the subject line was taken from).  Did anyone ever find out what this was all about? Who was behind it? etc.

Hmm....I remember the IWin hoax quite well. That was a marvellous achievement as far as hoaxes go. Can't remember any names behind it though.

The difference here is that Merlancia is pretty well documented, and very well known.  This on the other hand is a bit of a unsolved mystery as far as I know, and has largely been forgotten.

Somehow I relate that guy with the British National Party......not that I'm very knowledgeable about British politics, but still.

I watch that on BBCAmerica. at 1st i had to get used to the Really odd humor (man, is it DRY!), but I do like it.
