If I had the cash right now I'd grab that for the AmiBay US price.

The timing always sucks when something like this comes up!!!!

Thank guys, I think it's a combination of the market being a bit slow this time of year, and also bad timing since it looks like a few 2060's sold in the weeks prior to my listing.

Worst case, I guess I have to keep it as a backup for my TekMagic. :-P

BTW, AmiBay pricing is ofc the same for anyone who wants to deal through Amiga.org.

I got bored waiting for a decent accelerator & SCSI controller and sold my A1500 a couple of months ago. I only wanted to get it to A2500/30 spec anyway, although I would have been tempted. I think there is a limit to the number of people who want a fast processor in an ECS machine.

I'm in the same boat.
I'm not spending over $500 for an upgrade for a machine I got for less then $100.
An '030 would suit me fine, too.

After all we're talking slow ('060), really slow ('030), and damned slow (stock).

If I want fast I'll use UAE or MorphOS.

I can't help it, I'm a speed freak.  I like maxing them out ;)

I've got a 4000 pretty well set up and a 2000 that could use that 060 and a better RTG card.

One AGA, one ECS and a CD32 would set me up for pretty much anything I want to do.

I bought a Pegasos 2 years ago when the first batch finally shipped out, sold it after some months and never looked back. G3/G4 was still dog slow for some modern tasks, even back then. MAME was a joke. Probably a different story now on the macs, but I found that I had much more fun with my classics as a retro/hobby platform.

On the oldies, I prefer the '030 for compatibility reasons with an ECS/AGA only machine. Install a decent graphics board though, and the difference between an '030 and '060 is massive.

LOL, same here. I had the Blizzard tucked away as a backup for my TekMagic 2060, but decided that I'd sell the Blizzard now to fund some other hobbies, and look for another TekMagic sometime in the future when my wallet is a bit fatter. ;)

Always!!!

I get some cash, and there are no more mediator boards, or DENEBS, or indivisions for my A4000.  I am out of cash, and Denebs and absurdly cheap 2060s come onto market.

What Amiga god did I piss off?

Wow, that went cheap! I figured it would go closer to $1000. I never see 2000 060's for sale.

I had a 4000T/060/PCI system that I practically had to give away recently.

I'm hoping the prices are coming down to sane levels.  Actual users might be able to afford them finally.

Well I knew it would happen, the sale dragged on long enough for me to really think twice about letting it go, so I decided to keep it. :p
