In January we filmed our Commodore SX-64 video over the course of 2 days. After 8+ hours of editing, it has finally been posted! It was filmed as a tribute to the original SX-64 video that is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PygDf6E94o

I enjoyed it, but it was missing the pool babe :P

Heh, club member Roger took her place. ;)

Due to public demand, I've edited the amateur commercial to include a woman. So, after 3 more hours of editing, I've tweaked the commercial to v2. You can see it at

Can't get much more appropriate than Kiki, awesome, thanks :)

I had all this standard-def and high-def video of Kiki Stockhammer and her bandmates, but to match the rest of my high-def version of the commercial, I only considered the high-def video. I then had to eliminate all the video in which she and the band played in too dark venues (making for very, very grainy video). Then I had to find the clips in which she was most prominent and not showing the rest of her bandmates (sorry, bandmates). It came down to two clips of her gyrating on-stage, and I picked the one which was most flattering and fit the limited time frame of the commercial.

Like George Lucas who continually fiddles with his Star Wars movies, :) I've re-edited our SX-64 commercial to version 3. Now some young FCUG members are included. To see the "SX-64 commercial v3 (amateur)", go to

Drat, I forgot the last time I watched your video I had "are you keeping up with the Commodore" song stuck in my head for two days. What have you done to me?! ;)
PS - where's the babe jumping into the pool? Or was that the other C64 commercial? ;)

That was the original SX-64 commercial. In our amateur commercial, she was replaced by Kiki.

Well, the Blip.tv link I mentioned doesn't work. Here is a better, clickable link to SX-64 commercial v3 (amateur) --
