Title: Workbench / floppy drive

I intend on installing a HxC emulator in my amiga 1200 with a switch to divert power from the internal floppy drive to the HxC so one or the other is selectable. Now I know IDE is not "hot swappable", but what about drives connected to the internal floppy controller?
