Title: battery in 030

i have  a blizzard 030/50 ..how can i replace the battery ...seems  very tight in there ..almost  glued?? ..dont wanna force it out ..what battery can i replace it with ? voltage etc...would like to have a computer that keeps time..

If memory serves me right, the battery is soldered directly to the PCB (at least that's what I remember from the Blizzard 1230 Mk. III).

The original Phase 5 1230/IV uses a rechargable lithium battery (VL2020), I do not recommend replacing it with a non-rechargeable button cell !!

Why do you want to change it? If it's not keeping time then leave it on for several hours to recharge.

i have had it on ..i think the battery is no good anymore  ..any suggestions?? ..it always thinks its 1978
