Looking to buy an NTSC Amiga 600, in good shape (ie, no yellowing, etc) with 1MB RAM expansion/clock in the trapdoor. I don't need an accelerator or kickstart update, or even a hard drive. Really, I'd prefer just the 600 w/2MB :)
On another note, what would an Amiga 1200 w/HD (not sure what size HD I'd put in there) w/16MB on a 1230 030/33 XA board go for?

Possibly around $50 - $100 USD :-)

Another question... is it possible to convert a PAL based 600 to NTSC? I wasn't sure if there might be a jumper, trace, etc on the main board. I'm noticing these are much more common.

Hey everyone, correct me if I`m wrong but can you not just place the NTSC/PAL monitor driver in devs on workbench and make the machine either system?

The trick is in the RF modulator. PAL Amigas carry PAL RF modulators
and NTSC, NTSC RF modulators. You can convert a PAL A600/A1200 to boot
to NTSC and vice versa with no problems, however the specific RF
modulator frequency stays the same and makes things difficult. Of
course, if you don't care about TV output(s) then it doesn't matter as
RGB out port is not affected by this, thus there are no problems with
Amiga monitors and these new funky signals which are called PAL60 and
NTSC50.

I don't care about using RF, however, I do plan on outputting composite to TV. Also, I will not be using the Workbench for most things (I'm looking at this system as more of an old school game system) which is why I was thinking of more of a hardware hack for NTSC output. Ah well, maybe I'll just keep looking :)
