Hello,
I was browsing on ebay and came across this:
CDTV mb auction (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3074170493&category=3543)
it is an 'as is' cdtv motherboard which as the seller warns, could be faulty.
However, it is interesting to note that it comes with a megachip addition - I didn't know these things can go in CDTVs, I thought that they were only for A500s/A2000s. I guess the A500 and the CDTV are very similar.
The seller has more parts of a dis-assembled cdtv on auction as well.
just to emphasize; I am not the seller of this item - just thought someone may find it useful (esp. the megachip)

The fact that it's unknow if that expansion is broken or not makes it not interesting for those (i.e. me) who have a working CDTV. You could destroy a perfectly working CDTV mobo with a faulty expansion I think. (or am I wrong, electricians?)
Only interesting for those who have a broken CDTV mobo

This sounds like that old Catch-22 - if she drowns she wasn't a witch and if she floats, BURN HER!
i.e. If your CDTV mobo is broken, use the expansion and it won't break the mobo but you won't find out if the expansion works.
OR... if your CDTV mobo isn't broken, then the expansion will break it.
Bah, I'm tired, ignore me
