Hi,
A long time since I last posted. A few days ago, I spotted in one of my favorite series some appearance of our beloved machine. I took this picture myself but found a lot of videos on youtube related to amiga machine in Miami Vice. So these guys had the best suits, cars, hair style and computers that could be found at this time. Maybe a reason for you to rewatch the serie ...
In another style, I found a picture of Stephen King's office when he was a young writer. He used a computer that I can't identify, but seemed to me it was a commodore. Can you identify it ?

That looks like a Wang word processor.

Thanks a lot,
Didn't know this one. Maybe this other site collecting information about all computers appearing in shows can worth a glance.

Bye.

Thank you Jorkany.
It definitely looks the same. I'll search about this machine and why he used it. Sometimes it's very valuable for programmers to hear about what (old) users found interesting in some products, even if they're not on Amiga platform. Like this one :

Bye and thanks.

On that website http://wigilius.se/amiga/ it states :
"The Gods Must Be Crazy II".
Amiga 2000 used to display graphics in the opening.
Just happen to have that movie so watched it and they missed the A500 hiding in the adjoining office :-)

Well done ,
But the site I gave spotted that (http://www.starringthecomputer.com/computer.html?c=36).
And it's quite funny to follow all the computers we loved in different series or films on this site.
Good pictures by the way, I'll surely watch this film sometimes.
Bye.

It's great fun looking, there was something more recent the other day that had one. Will have to try and remember what it was.

Stop right there!!! ARE YOU TELLING ME RIGHT now all the graphics for the awesome tv show and movie
Wallace and Gromit
right now this second till 2013 is generated by an AMIGA???!! They are using Amiga to do
the graphics??!
-
The early stuff was done on the Amiga, all the latest Wallace and Gromit isn't :-(

As always no mention of the Amiga on the Aardman website or under the wallace and gromit wikipedia website.
I find that a lot, as if someone/something is trying to wipe the Amiga from computing history.
