I've got to thin the herd and make room so I'm trying to get myself down to one good computer and a few spare parts.
Continental US only unless you make me one HELL of an offer.
AS IS. This stuff is old. I won't sell anything I think is busted without saying so, but I can't deal with static shocks and other people's computer skills.
PM me a decent offer (including shipping) and it's yours.
Payment through PayPal.
I hate to ship and I'm willing to take even less if you pick it up locally! (San Antonio Texas)

To answer the "how much?" question: I'm not really sure so I'm taking offers.
The last time I shipped a whole computer it cost a lot, but at least this isn't that big 4000T case.
I will split the prometheus, 4000T (MT?) and CPU card.
-
Ok cleared msgs thanks lets go PM..

I updated with some suggested prices since this has been a recurring question.
4000T in MT case/no CPU card: $400 obo
Quickpack/Eagle 060: $400 obo
Prometheus PCI, Voodoo 3, Realtek network card: $150 obo
Picasso II: $150 obo
I'm pretty sure I have an A3640 that could be installed in the 4000T if needed, but I'll need to test it tonight. I have several and I'm not sure how many are in perfect working order.
Thanks!

I knew I have seeing that case before!! That case came with me when I first owned in my life LITERALLY speaking AN X86 PC Pentium I running at a speed of 75 Mhz with 4 MB of RAM, Windows 95 (when Windows 95 WAS FIRST RELEASED IN EXISTANCE).
That is also the same case with Windows 95 when Windows 95 have a cool musical effect when opening menu, shrinking windows, maximizing windows and was the first time in my life able to watch a video in my Pentium I 75 with 4 MB of RAM running on Windows 95.
It was fun back then :D I had great time with that PC, also it was the time when I was introduced on the greatest RPG game ever in existance Ultima 7 the black gate. Aaaaah the memories.

You made me realize I wrote ATX, but it's an AT case.
Believe it or not, I bought that case in the last two years, brand new ;)

Payment made for Asix Device Network dongle and Prometheus setup.

I updated the list of items.
What is the etiquette here? On some forums I deal with, they want you to leave the info in place for others to see the prices and pics.
Do I delete them to make it easier to read or not?

Sent you an offer for the tower via pm
-
interested in one of the Picasso 2

I can't seem to edit this thread anymore, I'm not sure why.
I'm NOT shipping outside of the continental US.
I've had another bad experience with international shipping, so I'm simply not going to deal with it.
PM's have been replied.

Really?
I just shipped to Russia last month w/o any problems.
I've repeatedly shipped to Germany (also no problems).
And I even sent one package to Kazakhstan (again...).
-
The deal for the 4000T fell through, so it is available again.
$475 shipped in the lower 48, continental US only. Will include an A3640 CPU card.
-
Interested in the 4000 T if it fits a cyberstorm MKI including SCSI module.
Cant tell from the pictures posted.
It seems to be a 4000T motherboard but in a different tower ?
Could you post some pictures now that it is completely empty ?
thanks !

Let me know if you have any A4000s for sale reasonably and are willing to ship to Canada. Thanks!
-
US only, sorry. Long story, it just never works out for me...
All PM's replied, more pics soon.
-
No way you can fit a fully expanded CS mk1 in this tower. The local slot is too close to both the front and the back of the case.
-
Interested in the A4000T in tower if still available and sending pm.
-
A4000T pending to danbeaver!
-
4000T is outta here!
I can't edit the post, so I'm not sure what to do with that listing.

I dont really understand your point of this? Yeah, its a hell of a deal. And what you are telling people that this is some regular deal? lmao. You cant even find amigas anymore in the states. Ebay is the only answer. I wanted this tower but didnt have the cash in time :(
-
I do think ebay gold-diggers are preventing a lot of good hardware from being owned by people who would actually use it.
I'm pretty tired of seeing parts I need with minimums that could make a house payment that don't even sell. It's like their retirement fund.
-
Hieroglyph
I agree with you there. Whats worse though are the HOARDERS how just collect rare amiga items and dont even use them and would never sell them to ppl who could actually put it to use instead of going on forums saying "i have this I have that" or having long sigs with every rare part imaginable.

My point mirrors yours: eBay has folks thinking that the only way to own an Amiga is to pay an arm and leg. That A4000 of Robert Waters that just sold for almost $800 is an example of this. Yet this Amy sat waiting for a new owner for weeks at a great price.
Don't say there are no Amigas for sale in the US, I've listed in the past in this forum for below their cost to refurbish without a nibble. I haven't turned to eBay or AmiBay because of their policies. If you want an Amy, then post a "Want to Buy" thread. I have 2 A2000's and 2 A3000's to sell. When I've offered these to people, they seem to want to pay $100 for a working machine.
-
Man why do I like 3000's so much? Every time one comes up for sale I start fighting myself. Same with CD32's.

I see this quite often also, seems no one bothers to ask on forums or on irc half the time. i find plenty of amiga's in the usa.
you make a good point dan, offer one up and either they dont want to pay what its worth or just ignore it. very odd.

You know I offered a bare, working A2000 with battery replaced with coin, A2091 + 2 MB RAM + v7 ROMS and a 1 GB HDD for $200. I've offered it several times and never had a bite (?Byte). I offered an A2000 here loaded with an 040. 32 MB RAM, Toaster, Indivision ECS, TBC IV, 1GB HDD, CDROM, SCSI Card reader, Thylacine USB, and A2065. Also coin battery, loaded hard drive with latest Toaster software and a 4GB CF card of WHDLoad stuff. No one interested in either.
I like refurbing Amigas back to health and then letting go out into the wild, but it is sad once they are all healthy no one wants them.
-
Last year, I sold one of my A2000 with Hd and 3MB RAM and keyboard with bunch of sw on EBAY for $135, this thing sold in 2hr of posting with BIN.
I didn't feel greedy that time
I try to keep only one model each from Amiga line.
