I have Transcend, SanDisk and Kingston all 8GB, they all don't work with my A1200 though they work with PC well:mad:. I don't know what's the problem (my connector has switch 3.3V/5V). I hope FastATA can be solution.

I've found Kingston to be pretty reliable. Got a few of their 4GB cards working fine.

Ask Mech (Mike) of http://www.A4000T.com fame and Amigakit; they know what cards work and ones to avoid.  FOL works for Amigakit, and you will see "Amigakit" reply in the forums too.  Both sell a 4GB CF card through their web stores.

Have a 8GB sandisk I was going use but I get a yellow software error trying to boot from it, it's fine in WinUAE and have tweaked it with max transfer settings etc still no luck.

Waiting for a fast ata (if it ever turns up) going to test it with that. If still no go might have to be a small SSD or a notebook drive :-)
