I am currently preparing a CF using WinUAE (for use with a real A1200 which is on the way to me). Whenever I double click Install_FAT95 icon nothing happens... any idea what I'm missing?
I do have Installer installed...
Thanks in advance!

You missed reading the documentation.
The Install_FAT95 program only changes the built in language corresponding to the drawer the icon was run from. The file system itself needs to be installed manually. (It's not too difficult, though, just copy the fat95 file to the L directory of your boot drive. Done.)
*Using* FAT95 is more difficult. That's why the documentation has been translated to every known language.

Thomas thanks for your reply. All I wanted is to be able to read files stored on a fat32 formatted compact flash connected via a PMCIA adapter. Is fat95 what I need for the job? Thanks!

Yup. Assuming you've already installed compactflash.device and the CF0 DOSDriver from cfd.lha on Aminet.
