I am offering my own Dell 3,5" high density drive that works on every Amiga from kickstart 2.0 and up. It has been tested on an A500 with 2.1, an A500+ with 3.1 and my A1200 with 3.1. The Amiga detects it automaticly as a high density drive and if you wanna format a disc then you get the choice between 880 K or 1,66 Mb. Formatting pc discs on 1,44 Mb is also no problem.
I also add a 2nd high density drive but this one has got no cable to connect to the Amiga and it also gives errors but maybe somebody can fix it ???
Also included are 10 Amiga CDroms from german magazines with all kinds of software !!!

The question is not how much I want for it, that's up to the rules of Ebay. And yes, I can ship to the US. I shipped an Xsurf last week to Canada, so I guess shipping to the US will also work ... :-)

what does kludged mean?
A kludge is like a hack, a way of getting something to work that normally wouldn't

No this is an official Dell floppy for the Amiga. of course it was originally a PC drive wrigged by them to work for Amiga. High Density 1.44 on PC 1.76 on Amiga I think.

Yeah but what is the model number of the floppy drive? (ie what does the serial number sticker say in it's entirety)
