Faulty hdd perhaps? do you have set to salve or master or cable select?
-

When did it start, anything you've changed recently?
Accelerator, if so does it happen with it not installed?
I'd strip it back and add each item one at time.

80 gb HITACHI drive is installed 3 days ago, on 5 gb IBM was no problem led , to 80 gb problem occurs immediately after switching on the Amiga, amiga cards no turbo, standard configuration is 2 mb and nothing more

Some hard drives turn the led on when there is any activity on the ide bus others only when there is reading or writing. I don't know if it's related to that or something else. But it's likely that you'll have to live with it.

By the way off topic...what is the largest and compatible 2.5" HD for the Amiga 1200? I do not mind if it is a loud HD too by any chance...loud is good for me too.

I think most modern drives tend to do this. Mine does as well. Nothing to worry about.

Same as any other Amiga: 4GB in the stock configuration, but essentially no limit once you have the appropriate patches.

Will this be a good HD to buy for the A1200 http://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-WD-2-5-320GB-WD3200BEVE-5400-8M-PATA-IDE-HDD-Hard-Disk-Driver?item=281028607535&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4325880897793220846 ?

I think that's overkill. You *could* use it, but I think you'll have an easier time with a simple IDE-to-CompactFlash or IDE-to-SD adapter and a 4GB card. And the whole thing should only set you back about $20.
