I found this site after booting up my Amiga 500 the other week after 20+ years of hibernation and just recently got hold of a large lot of faulty retro machines which include
Amiga 500
Amiga 600
And Amiga 1200
As well as other stuff, Atari st, c64 and a couple of Atari 2600.
Over the next few months ill be looking at restoring or at least get working the lot.
I'm a mechanical engineer by trade but have a fair bit of pcb repair knowledge as I've been collecting and repairing arcade pcb's for a couple of years and have quite a large array of test equipment
On the down side as of yet ive never stripped or repaired an amiga and I know nothing about software and programming so ill have to trade knowledge for knowledge lol

Welcome from across the bridge :)
More round the M180 than across the bridge to South Yorkshire from Cleethorpes, shurely? (We're East Yorkshire up here across the bridge.) :-)
@Soniq561 - Welcome (back) to the Amiga!
(Warning: this hobby can take over your life.)
(PS I'm also a Mech Eng by trade, South Yorkshire's a good area for engineering jobs... East Yorkshire somewhat less so)
