Hi,
my A1200 is equipped with an ACA-1230 accelerator with 68030 (w/ MMU) and 64MB FastRAM. The machine has an internal 160GB hard disk and an Indivision AGA Mk2 flicker fixer (both from Individual Computers).
I have been trying to install Debian on the machine with no luck. I tried Debian Woody, Sarge, Etch and the latest SID installer (from 2009) and none worked.
Amiboot loads the kernel with the Woody and Sarge installers and when I press enter, it tries to execute the kernel (see screenshot). According the documentation, the screen should become gray first, then the kernel messages should show up after a short time, but I just get an out-of-sync signal from the Indivision. I haven't tried connecting the Amiga through FBAS or RGB yet because I don't have a television at the office where the Amiga is located, but I suppose the problem lies somewhere else and the kernel just crashes.
Anyone had success with the Indivision AGA Mk2 with Linux?
Cheers,
Adrian
