Because my Monitor gave up on me I bought a new
TFT-Monitor. The Display works nice even with my Scandoubler :-)
I have one strange problem:
In CGXMode I try to go back to 60Hz vertical freq. (I had 75Hz before) It works with 8Bit but not with the 16Bit Modes (Frequency out of Range 553,5 KHz !?)
any advice ?

Are you using doublescan or interlace or normal scan? Check that first in the mode editor.
-
I use normal like ever..

@duesi
Do you use a 1024x768 or a 1280x1024 monitor?
I got some monitor files I've made a while ago for my TFT at 75Hz. I could send them to you to test, later tonight when I power up my Amiga.

@neo
I use 1024x768 and it works with 75Hz
But my TFT's optimal would be 60Hz only
(in CGXMode I can change to 1204x768 60Hz VESA
but only in when I choose 8Bit) :-?

So you can't make the refresh frequency sane by moving the pixel clock slider?
-
have you tried using that monitor with a PC/Mac and testing similar refresh rates? That would take the 'amiga' variable out of the equation (I suspect it's the monitor that doesnt' like the rates anyway, given that the amiga + a cybergraphx card can generate far more screenmodes than most monitors would be happy with)..
If you can't get similar screenmodes working with a PC, then your monitor is at fault, of course and it's not the amiga causing you grief....

It's definately not the Monitor causing this Problem
(Works nice on the PC with 1024x768 60Hz)
Probably I have to reinstall CGX

Perhaps you grabbed the wrong monitor def file for CyberGraphX? (Like 50khzMonitor, or whatever one you use) The different files don't seem to be labelled with version information, but if you put one from a wrong version of CGX (even minor updates, sometimes!) into your system, all heck will break loose....
