You may call me crazy, but I am looking to buy a used copy of PageStream, which would work with my Sam460ex, running 0S4.1 update 6.
I'd rather don't buy directly from the PageStream website because I'm not sure what and when I'd get my order.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Call me crazy for answering but why "used?"

Because I heard that the newest versions; versions after 4.0, are not stable. So I need confirmation, but I've read that v4.0 works fine.

I have would have to check if I have version 4.0 but it runs on OS 4.1.6 on a Classic Amiga

I'm sure it would work in the NG Amiga running 1.4.6

Why is Pagestream still sold for AmigaOS4 & MorphOS if no MUI-experienced Amiga programmer is updating the code? I paid for both of these versions many many years ago. Very sad state of affairs for AmigaOS4 & MorphOS customers. And it's doubtful to ever be correct, wish someone would fix this problem.

Save yourself some grief and don't waste your money. This software has problems with NG Amiga systems and MorphOS. It's never be competed for MorphOS or OS4.

Pagestream is a download-only product and has been since version 4 - there are no used copies. While the current 5.x releases are beta and unstable, you should get access to the last stable version in the 4.x series with your purchase. It's not PPC native, but it should work under OS4.

The last time 4.x & 5.x on OS4 & MorphOS were released is 2006-06-19, 7 years ago! They are listed as beta and are in fact incomplete buggy betas. The developer has not bothered to make even minor changes in all that time. Kind of shows what the developer thinks about his old loyal customer base. He is willing to still take your money for them though. Does anyone truly believe this will be worked on again after a seven year absence? The fact these are still being sold today should give anyone thinking of buying them pause. Screen shot below for enlightenment.

Yes, it does. There are some minor quirks (at least for me), but one can circumvent them rather easy.
