Not remake, new adventure! :)

Yes since whoever bought sieras ip last has the rights to space quest, has the rights still...
Still should be a fun new game that continues the crazy.
Loved that series...

Why do they need half a million dollars for a Space Quest game? Way back when the Amiga versions were always just a direct port of the PC versions along with the crappy EGA graphics!
-
Maybe because they can't really make it with EGA graphics today so they need to pay all the artists and popular voice actors they hired :smack:
Copyrights are copyrights, but they still totally snuck sierra logo as basically theirs in there :D:D

Awsome ! Back in the day (PC platform I'll admit) I was a big fan of Sierra and Lucas Film adventure games, the whole Adventure genre to be precise. Still am today although it's a dying (dead?) genre altogether. Maybe this will be the perfect opportunity to interest all those youngsters of today that there are other types of games except 3D doom/quake/younameit clonez. Very exciting ! Thanks 4 sharing.

Also check out Space Quest 0, and Space Quest The Lost Chapter. Both free and I presume work under ScummVM, and certainly DOSbox.
EDIT: And Space Quest IV.5
-
I just tested Space Quest 0 and the lost chapters with ScummVM, they work fine! :)

Also there is now a remake of Space Quest II on the web, and if you can find it, there is also a game called Space Quest IV.5 out there, though good luck finding a copy. ;)

@XDelusion
Are you talking about that one?

Downloads appear to be down for it but I might know one of the team-members.

That is the one!
I got a copy my self, but I hope they have a working link for everyone else again soon!

I believe this is one of my reasons for buying an Amiga in the first place.
