Title: CATWEASEL
Post by: DGB on January 24, 2004, 08:06:03 PM
Hi All,
I finally got around to installing the Catweasel I bought almost a year ago.  I have been slowly dragging my A-2000 /Toaster into the 21st. century and the Catweasel is part of that plan.  I hooked up a CD-RW drive to the Catweasel and installed Buddha software to run it.  Everything works great and I would like to be able to write to the drive since it is capable of doing so.  That doesn't work at this point.  My questions for all are:  Is it possible to write to this drive in this configuration as it is hooked up to the Catweasel and if so do I need more software or do I need to make some adjustment to the Buddha software.  I know there are programs like Burnit.  Will they work with this configuration?  All answers and guidance are welcome but please keep it simple as sometimes the expertise here is over my head.  Thanks.

Dave

As far as I know, you can't use a Burner on these buddha-ide-controller. It is just a addon to the catweasle and you can only install hds and normal cd-rom.

Get the Make-cd demo software and try burning a cdrw. But i doubt it will work.
