Amiga Forever 2012 "R3" has just been released. If you already have a 2012 version, select Check for Updates from the Help menu. The plan is for the 2012 series to continue with free updates into the year 2013.
New features include a streamlined player skin (some controls have been moved to the playback window), refined default behavior and options for temporary and automatically created RP9 files, and dozens of other improvements.
We also worked with Toni Wilen to introduce some new features that will be enabled once WinUAE 2.5 is released, including scaling (e.g. 2X) of windows hosting Amiga RTG modes, transparent on-the-fly "extended ADF" conversion, and autodetection of joystick insertion and removal during playback.
Thanks again for your continued support, and may you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Actually the answer is yes the update to your install is free, but if you want a backup of your AF-DVD.iso and C64-CD.iso then you will do like I did today and pay $9.99 for the downloads plus new key files. This way you can give it to a friend for your holiday of choice.
