I know that the Indivision AGA 1200 MK2" is for the Amiga 1200 but is it still possible for it to be used on the Amiga 2000?

No, it cannot be used.  You should use the Indivision ECS (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=918) on your A2000 instead:

The MK2 fits over the Lisa chip and acts in concert with it. So that is why it won't work. But with Zorro slots you have a number of options.
