Title: WTB: Amiga 2000 floppy drive bracket
Post by: sprocket on November 13, 2012, 04:31:52 PM
Want to buy the bracket that holds the floppy drive in the sub chasis of an Amiga 2000.

I don't want someone to cannibalize a working machine, but if you have some parts around and this is one of them please message me.

Offering $10 via Paypal shipped.

thanks.

I have one you can take for free, I'll just check the shipping charges and that's all you'll need to pay.

Sent you a PM

Afraid I'm in the U.S. so it's only really reasonable to send such a small part from within the U.S. for anyone else who may have one.

No problem, see if you can get one in the US, if you don't come right I'll keep this one for you. I'll check postage costs anyway.

Cheers

Hi Sprocket,

Shipping to the US is expensive, gonna be approx $30. Sorry mate! I'll still keep it if you don't come right elsewhere.

Cheers

yeah, figured it would be extravagant.

I can get a busted 2000 on ebay for only a little more than that within the U.S.

I'll find one.

thanks for the offer.

I've got a A2000 parts machine with the floppy bracket. You might have something I would trade it for, I bought a bunch of software from you recently.

am open to trade.

have some magazine CDs & clipart CDs left... as well as a few Aminet.

the rest is on floppies and I can't check 'em at the moment until I get the 2000 back together.  Message me privately if you have a list of things you're looking for.

thanks.

Mostly what I'm looking for is any PPC software. The only specific thing I want now is a Deluxe Paint V manual. I have the disks but they came with a Dpaint IV manual.

I'll take a look in the trailer I've got the A2000 chasis in.

No PPC software I'm afraid.  Doubt there's a stray DPaint V manual either.
