Hi Dudes
I wanna know if a Blizzard 2040 is easily upgradeable to 2060.
I wanna put one of these babies into my beloved A2000.
One more question. I have bbe give an Alfa-Data IDE ZORRO 2
controller. Do you know where to start the search of the drivers?
Thank you in advance

Are there jumpers on the Blizzard 2040 to allow the fitting of an 060?
040s and 060s have different operating voltages, so its not just a case of swapping the CPUs. Also, you will have to change the crystal no doubt.

If i remember correctly on that board all you need to do is change the CPU.

I assume that the way is changin the cpu and the oscilator ofcourse,
but I think it I must do some jumper configuration.
I dunno really, since I doesnt have the card already, but I doubt the
card autoconfigures itselfs in order of the cpu installed.
Do you konw if there is some related site floating around?
Best Regards

Here you go, I've been thinking about doing this myself if I don't end up selling it.
