Will Ultra ATA100 / ATA-6  IDE drives work on A1200?

I have that IDEfix thingamajiggy if that matters.

Howzabout Ultra ATA66 / ATA-5 IDE ?

When I bought my A1200 it came with a 5.25" 6GB drive (yes that's right, 5.25" like a C64 floppy).  It developed an error.  I donno if the error was from the electrical brownout or due to its a ridiculously old gigantic hot drive.  So I need to replace / upgrade.

What are your thoughts on buying old cheapo recertified drives?

If I buy a new 3.5" drive how will I mount it in the place of my 5.25" drive?  It won't fit properly.

They should be backward compatible to at least to ATA33.
What standard does your controller expect?
