I set up my A1200 tower for the first time in about 3 years yesterday.
After a few moments checking connections (I'd left the power plug out of the back of the MB), I had a moment of happiness when the purple insert disk animation appeared on my CM8833 monitor.
I didn't get to do any more than this, but the 20-year old hardware still seems to work without problems.
I've taken the Hard Disk out so I can now use WinUAE to copy the ClassicWB build I have to it.

				Cool, what are the specs?

Why would you leave it unused for three years?

Commodore A1200 3.0 ROM. Blizzard 1230 MkIV with 32MB 60ns RAM, CD Rom plugged into PCMCIA with an Alfa Data A1200CD interface, 850 MB 2.5" HD.
I've set up a good system in WinUAE including a number of 3d games and ShapeShifter using the advice on these forums.

@Iggy, (without meaning to have a Doctor Who reference) time and space. I've finally got the attic cleared out and boarded. Having a family meant all our spare space (office and spare room) got changed into a nursery and bedroom so loads got piled up in the roof space, including the Amiga.

				Understandable.
Pretty much the same reason I've sold so many things over the years.
