Do you have your web browser go to a website for your home page?
Anyone have amiga.org as their home page? :-)
I personally go with a blank page because I have no set routine for what sites I want to read first in a session.
-
about:blank
-
Different home pages on different computers for me.
A4000T = Amiga.org
AmigaOne = Debian Linux home page
Work laptop = company home page
Contract assignment PC = contract home page
-
kuro5hin.org

or something :-D

I use A.org as a home page, nice layout and it doesn't matter where one starts from? 8-)
-
I use whatever the defaut page is set at. It's usually the deveoper's page for the browser. That way I can see if there are any updates, etc. before I get started.
-
Blank page. In Opera if I am currently reading something, like a tutorial, I keep it open when I close Opera and use "Continue from last time" when I start it next.

Yes. Is this a shameful revelation? :-D

I've got IBrowse and Mozilla set to about:
I probably should change them to Amiga.org; it's almost invariably my first destination. :-)
-
all my boxes have amiga.org as the homepage. Easier that way.
-
Although A.org is my first stop almost every time, mine are all set to a "BLANK" page.
Freedom of choice, first and formost. :-D
-
I set the homepage to Google ... Very quick to load and
generally useful.

Google, quick and useful.

I created my own (local) "homepage" so that if I load up a browser when I'm not online, it doesn't spit messages at me!
The page has a selection of my favourite sites listed as links, along with a Google search bar, a currency conversion section (from xe.com) and a few weather tickers (from wunderground.com)
Very useful! :-)

I have amiga.org set as my homepage, used to be ann.lu up until a year ago. I have toyed with the idea of creating my own local homepage with google and things on like Chunder has... but I guess I will have to stick to a.o being my homepage now :-)
-
Google all the way, on all three PC browsers. Firebird, IE, Opera.
I used to have a links page made up by my self, but google is more useful and they change their logo from time to time wich is really funny.

Presently aimed at http://www.shiningsilence.com/dbsdlog/ (http://www.shiningsilence.com/dbsdlog/).
Lazy Mozilla users wanting a local homepage can just point it to bookmarks.html.
-
I have mine set to go to my local weather from weather.com. With DSL at home and wired/wireless at school, I'm connected more often than not.
Back when I was using Voyager, I had it set to open to the bookmarks page, which did very nicely for a "local" homepage. [Edit: as Floid posted nearly simultaneously!]
-
I've got Opera set to start with a blank page.
Everytime I connect to the net using the BT Dialler thingumy it loads Opera and a new page with the BT homepage in it.

That's what I do on my parents' machine :-)

yes opera is set as amiga.org as the default page and i have just set internet explorer to this online virus scanner . http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/indexie.php (http://www.ravantivirus.com/scan/indexie.php)
-
I use my IB bookmarks page. Hint:
IBrowse:ibrowse-hotlist.html
-
using opera i can save a tabbed "session". So i have it come up with seven pages that i normally start with. that includes amiga org and morphzone
sessions are good~
-
Amiga.org is set as home ... would be wierd if it would be another.
-
Mozilla starts as a search-page!
Opera starts as my Home Page, overlaid by a least three pop-ups. Though sometimes I choose Opera when selecting a LINK-URL in Email.

i just put the A.org news feed (jss) on to my site...
i use frames, and it opens ok....
But i can`t seem to log on, directly from the main page....
Works ok when i use a new ( target="_top" ) page...
:-D
Anyway tnx for that newsfeed.....
