Title: Troubles with Turboprint 7.30 on Draco system
Post by: Liluh on January 22, 2004, 02:45:59 PM
Hi lads,

I`ve got a problem with TP 7.30 on Draco system. Installation itself went smooth, TP works fine until I try to print... TP sends the file to Spooler and spooler initiates my printer (hp3820) and then.... *crash* it hangs. Draco  requester pops up saying that file turbo/tp8 - crashed.

Can anyone help me? I`ve  tried that printer on a1200 and it worked fine with TP.

Try it without TurboSpool.
Don't select TurboPAR in TurboPrefs.

And please give your system specifics (processor, memory, graphics card etc.) The only thing I know about the Draco is that TP's copy protection cannot be read by the Draco's floppy drives.

Bye,
Thomas

Hi Liluh,

. . .and sometimes read the docs, can help :-)

Installation on a Draco computer by MacroSystem
-----------------------------------------------

Turboprint can be installed on a Draco computer. However, IrseeSoft can't
guarantee the functionality, as the Draco is not 100% Amiga compatible.
Before you install Turboprint on a Draco, you must carry out the
"personalization" procedure on a regular Amiga, as the Draco can't write
to Amiga floppy disks.

Ciao
