anyone interested in trading a C-128 system, for an Amiga 2000HD.
The 2000 is in excellent condition, with a 2.0 ROM installed - 1Mb chip RAM (from Commodore) and I believe 3Mb of fast RAM right now. It wil have a 2091 with 100Mb hard drive. (Its 2090/ 40Mb setup isn't working).
I want a working C128 with Jiffy DOS (is possible) PSU and one 1571 drive.
What do you think.....

If I had one yes :-) Will keep an eye out for a C128 although I'm at the bottom of the world :-/
Is is a C128 or the D variety that you are after? Always wanted a C128D after playing with one when I was a kid :-)

I have an extra C128, and 1571 drive. No JiffyDOS, though.

I could live without JD, but I would need a little something more - maybe a 1351 mouse?
Maybe this could be hashed out....

You have a PM.

I think I wish you would have made this offer in 1989 :)

I only have 1 1351 mouse, that I can't really get rid of. How about a 1764 ram expansion cartridge. Gives you 256k more memory that can be used by some stuff. I used it in GEOS for a ram drive. I now have a 1750 and don't really need it any more. I sent you a PM, but don't know if you got it.

Aww, to bad you live in the US, Here I can get C128's for 40-60 USD and with extras under 100 USD and I never see any A2000's for sale here :(

What about 128D are they more rare over with you? We do not see too many here in Denmark

The desktop models are quite rare here but auctions tend to go higher on desktop Amigas (besides A1000).

Same here.
Could've easily bought a pristine C128 for a couple euros.
Amiga 2000 computers can be found on Ebay, but they're like 100-150.

Hope you find one soon :) are you looking for a stock 2000 or an expanded one

Thanks for the offers and ideas. I went with a trade with someone actually pretty close to me.
I would love to have found a 128D CR (metal case) but they are hard to find here in the 'States. To think I used to have four 128D's at one time.
Amiga.org saved the day again.

Well I have two C128D's both working with I believe JD in both, switchable ROM towers, 1571 reset buttons and such. The D model JD is hard to find and a pain to install.
I was going to put these on the market soon (with 30 years of other collected 8-bit stuff) to concentrate on the Amiga stuff. I'm not sure about an even swap though. You can pm me and we can talk.
