Hi all,
I've bought an ATX PSU adapter for my A4000D and tried round about 4 or 5 different old ATX PSUs. I found only one which works, but this one is too large for my case. Which should I buy? I think it's not easy to find one which fits and has enough power for my CSPPC and Mediator with Radeon 9250. Thx!

I've got a low profile PSU fitted in my A4k, the mod was done by one of the guys here, for the life of me, i can't remember the guys name. sorry!
when i get home i'll look up the part number of the PSU and maybe post a couple of pictures...

No offense,But how on earth does the amiga get any cooling with that setup?? its circumvented the path on the psu to pull air and not to mention some of the vents on the tiny psu are blocked off by the edge of the original psu case??
There is a reason that big fan is in the 4000,it not only cools the psu but it pulls air across the motherboard. Btw a regular atx psu board can be fit in a stock psu case with just a few notches in the fan housing-I've been doing them for 10 years that way.

heh, non taken :)
she's only a stock 4k/030, so nothing in there to get that hot.
if needed later on, at least now i can put in a big low speed fan to get n times the air flow it ever would have had as a stock item.
sorry i guess from those photos, the vents weren't too clear. taken another couple of photos, the psu should be alright i hope?
