Title: Amiga 1000 keyboard question
Post by: klx300r on September 29, 2012, 04:58:56 PM
just cleaning up my Amiga 1000 keyboard and forgot that one screw at the base of the case is slightly smaller than the only three so can someone take a picture of the bottom of their keyboard for me as the smaller one should be a different colour.

Actually I once made a mistake when screwing back together A1k keyboard. I learned the hard way that silver screw (shorter one) was supposed to go on specific location on upper right corner (when you view keyboard from downside). I screwed all screws only to notice small dimple of protruding screw on top of keyboard case. I felt very stupid that moment, yes indeed.

So 3 golden color plated screws are little bit longer ones and silver colored is shortest for a REASON! That was my lesson...
