An old website went down.
How can I get contact info of the owner?
-
Hi mate,
I have a domain name registered with this company, you can search for website owners when you type in the site but it may not give you permission to view the owner if they have not made it public.
Hope this helps ?

Sorry forgot to add the site
Here it is

Did you try the wayback machine?
-
I had already tried the Wayback Machine before I started the thread.
It had like 2 paragraphs of text and 1 pic and that was it. So 99% of the site was not there and the contact email, which used to be on the site, was not there. :(

It just says it is an invalid domain that is available for registration.

Maybe this will help.

You can get contact information of the owner through whois lookup method. For that, you can use any whois tools or websites like Whoisxy.com (http://www.whoisxy.com/) to find out the details of the owner.
Note:
If a domain owner got private registration for his/her private details, you can't see any info about him/her via whois search. :flame:

If it's available, then register it and you should have no trouble contacting yourself.

Hahaha, love this reply :-)
My work mates were looking at me wierdly (well more than normal) with the sudden outburst of laughter :-)
