Hi All,
I am beginning to believe that the 4gb CF card I purchased (SanDisk Extreme III) may be bogus. When I connect it into the hard drive slot I get nothing but a blank screen. The HD light does come on and if I put a floppy in the drive it will boot it. And if I leave the HD connected and use the EasyADF Transfer Kit, the computer still won't recognize it.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi,
Use HDtoolBox, see if it recognizes your CF card, if it does then set it up like a regular hard drive.
BUT WAIT
Are you using a PCMIA slot or an IDE hard drive to CF adapter?
If you are using the Easy ADF transfer kit, RTFI, read the forgotten instructions. (thought I was going to say something else didn't you).
Anyway I have the easyadf transfer kit in my A1200, but it has been so long since I have had it on, that I am going to have to RTFI myself.
Anyway I believe you have to format the CF with an instruction on the easyADF, I will have to hook up my A1200 and refresh the old noggin.
Don't know if I have been any help, but I do know I have been more help then the guy who wears a hard hat at Amiga Org. Somehow someone has to teach him how to write.
