Post by: kronuz on September 11, 2012, 02:15:47 PM
It's out on amibay http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?t=34743

Interested in swap.
Runs on 9v 2-pin, and feeds the same to the VIC. Power adapter, RF modulator and VIC not included.

Thanks for looking.

That's a neat looking piece of hardware.  Essentially, it was just a cartridge expander and power supply?  There's a huge space in the back behind the cassette and user port which doesn't look it like would have been to useful once a monitor was placed on top.  Of course, if you're putting a monitor on top I guess you'd better have the carts in place you'll be using for a while.

Wow, that takes me back.  I remember seeing pictures of that in magazines and thinking how it could transform my VIC-20 into something that looks like a PET, only with colour!!!

Was there anything similar for the C64?
