AmiKit, the high-end distribution of classic Amiga software running on Windows, Linux or Mac, has been updated. Now it contains more than 340 software packages in more than 30.000 files that makes it, probably, the most complete and up to date distribution of classic Amiga software out there. In addition everything is put together in a nice way, the system is fine tuned, friendly and... it looks great! :-)
The new 1.6.2 update (http://amikit.amiga.sk/history.htm) contains 20 updated programs as well as various minor tweaks and improvements. It's delivered automatically (http://amikit.amiga.sk/liveupdate.htm). Enjoy!

Thanks for putting that bit in. Usually people just assume that you know what their software is and just say it's been updated.

+1 I agree with this statement. I'm always thinking....and sooooo what does [insert updated software name here] do?

Any chance you guys can put DCTelnet or some other good telnet client in as an included default install package? :D

if it's free, then why not :)

Will it work on AROS?
Maybe create AROS distribution?

@Amikit I recently opened a thread at EAB about my 16 colors conversion that runs without anything else that my ACA: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=65691&highlight=amikit, fast and with a lot of chipmem.
I also posted in your Amikit in real Amiga thread without answer (well, the last answer took me 2 years waiting).
This is a video:

I would like to send you a copy so you could make a distributable "real" version. Also I would like to have the wallpaper images you use with ShowAmiga96.
Edit: Ah, ok. I've seen now your answer.
"Retrofan, sorry for late answer. I don't own real Amiga for about 10 years now so it's not within my scope of interest.
But if you have working conversion it would be possible to share it if you delete all the system files... which need to be installed on first run. Just like AmiKit on Windows or other platforms."
Thanks a lot.
Now I "only" would need someone to make an installer...
