I ran across this on on *Bay; it plugs into the floppy 34-pin cable and the floppy power supply and, via USB thumb drive, you select and load 1 of 99 disk images. They have it listed for use with an embroidery machine, Roland keyboard, and PC. They are all sold/shipped from China.
I could see it used as a sneaker-net way of transferring files (via CrossDos) on to the Amiga: format the USB thumb drive as Fat95 on PC or MAC and transfer the files to each 1.44 Mb partition; schlep it to the Emulator plugged into the Amy, and have CrossDos read it as a PC floppy drive. These things are listed in the 30 USD range. Might need some floppy cable adjustments or that little device sold to convert regular PC drives to Amiga styles (I picked up 2 recently)
