Title: Terminus (or other ANSI emu) over IP?
Post by: blakespot on August 19, 2012, 04:17:39 PM
Terminus (JR-Comm) does a good job with ANSI terminal emu. Is it possible to get it to ride TCP/IP for accessing telnet BBSs? Or can someone point me to another terminal emulator that will do color ANSI well?

Thanks.

(Using AmiTCP on my 2000 '060 as can't get/reg Miami, seems)

I've used maimi with dctelnet for the terminal program.  It works VERY well.  telnet to montereybbs.ath.cx once you get it set up and create an account, I'll validate you :)

Get telser.device from Aminet and configure your terminal program to use it instead of serial.device.

Old thread but I could use some help... I tried this with Terminus and NComm, and both give an error trying to access telser.device.  I've used the provided installer, put it in an AmiTCP folder, and am using MiamiDx as my TCP connection.  I can telnet wirh MiamiTCP no problem.

Thanks.
