Dear Friends:
As you might remember, my old amiga 1200 totally Kaput.
I just got a working amiga 2000 in the mail.
It has 1mb chip 2mb fast, and a 50mb HD.
It works and runs super...and I was able to install moviesetter
so I can make new amiga cartoons to giveaway to the amiga
community. I am very happy with my new amiga system.
I will use it mainly for art and animation (deluxe paint and
moviesetter). The system is not the best amiga possible, but
good enough for my artistic needs.
I just got my new amiga 2000 !!!
love !

Congratulations and welcome back to Amiga land! Happy to hear you got yourself a working Amiga, the 2000 is a nice machine.
I would love to see what you will create on the machine.

Great. I love my A2000.
1MB chip? so it is the ECS version then? Even better.
Look at getting one of those SCSI CF card readers from Mechy and slap a 2GB CF card in there. Also, upgrade the ROM to 3.1 and keep an eye on eBay for a cheap RTG card and/or CPU card. 020 and 030 cards tend to go for reasonable prices.

Well, if someone could use moviesetter to make animations on an Amiga 1000 in the early days, you should have an easier time of it.

Great! Glad to hear it. Have a blast with it!

Superb enjoy! There's nothing like an A2000. It's the computer I used as my main computer from 1989-1996..
Marvellous...!!
