Photo album here:

I have heard that it has been upgraded with a Mach2 chip (what ever that is), but do not know a thing about it or which drivers to use with it.
Can some one please help?
Thank you!

Just use you MMCD (if you don't have that you can get the drivers from Elbox if you Email them with your serial number)
There are some updates too, I suggest use update 2.1
http://www.elbox.com/download/MM_CD_UP2.1.lha
This I found to work best on my A1200's and A4000's with Mediator PCI

What is MMCD?
Also when I last wrote Elbox they said my serial was bunk.
Which number is the serial exactly?
Thankx!

MMCD is the Driver CD, if you don't have it you can buy from Elbox:
http://www.elbox.com/products/mediator_multimedia_cd.html
More info here on supported PCI cards:

I suggest you do some reading :)

Buy drivers for a product I already own...
Certainly you jest!!! :)
I may already have the drivers in my archives. I just need to know the serial number on this board...
...I think. :)

The serial number Elbox wants is hand written on the install CD ~ the MMCD. their major products will have printed tags which appear to be serial numbers. With the CD's serial number you can get somewhat better (although almost nil) service and accesses to newer device drivers. Elbox got angry that folks copied their hardware (Spider USB card) and is very restrictive in some respects. Keep in mind that while Amiga OS 4.1 supports their PCI board, they wrote all new drivers including PCI cards that Elbox doesn't support
Does any of this help? End result, find your serial number or start taking scans and photos of your hardware to prove its original. This may get you the drivers, but only rarely do they give any support for their products.

I had not sent them the photos that I have linked here. What I did was send them what I thought was the serial number off the card, and they told me it was bunk, gave me a link to their page and said that if it is not supported by their latest drivers that I'm SOL.
Very friendly service indeed, hence the reason I am here.
In the mean time I had ordered a PPC card from a user that goes by the name of Saddam on MorphOS Zone. He lives in Hungry and said he shipped the card, but that was about 6 months ago. I had waited three months, tried to contact him, then after about 2 weeks he wrote back, apologized that he had not shipped it and promised to do so, but as I said we are months from that point and still no card.
This whole tower project has left a sower taste in my mouth and if I can find the right drivers for this board, I'll prolly just sell it at this point.

Well you can download their drivers from their site except for the Spider.device; pm a friend for support there
Sorry your tower project is on hold, I've often thought of doing an A1200 tower for the experience of it (on occasion fun of it). You can sell your hardware without the drivers and let the buyer get them

True, but that's what the seller did to me, and I'd really hate to put
that on someone else if I can avoid it.

Sorry, I've already registered my two Mediators. But once you have the drivers, I'd burn a CD. As for your PPC, go after Saddam until you trap him into forcing to send you the card; try threatening him with giving his whereabouts to the Iraqi people.

Ha ha, I dunno if that would work, some of my friends in Iraq are too preoccupied with their hookas to get off the couch and chase someone down in Hungry. :)
