Title: Hats off to tone007
Post by: Iggy on July 09, 2012, 06:11:49 PM
Wow!
Could not keep this one private.
I'm playing around with a bootable Debian SD card tone sent me for my Sylvania Smartbook.
What an improvement (over Windows CE).
Its actually usable now and I can recommend this to other users.

Makes me wish I hadn't RMA'd the other back.
Gracias tone dude.
Very cool stuff.

Jim

When I bought it , $39.00 with free shipping.
They've upped the price slightly, but I'd be willing to bet that they'd sell others at this price if approached.

Tone007 has surely gone out of his way to help me in the past. A true Amiga user, through and through.

Absolutely!
This thing was a travesty running WinCE.
Wireless networking refused to work.
Everything was impossibly slow.

tone007 has posted the first version of Linux I've seen for this device and it works pretty good.
