Title: Do you use your Amiga still?
Post by: yester64 on July 04, 2012, 03:19:06 AM
Well, i assume that most people here still use their Amiga in one or the other way.

Since i can not part with my memories, i have to get me again one of these machines. Its quiet funny in a sense if i count the years that already past in my case.

But i wonder if people really use their Amiga for daily things, like most people do with their PC or their Mac.
I am merely curious.

Hi,

Yes I have an Amiga 4000 desktop set up on my desk (funny place to have a desktop set up isn't it) I also have a Amiga 1200 ppc set up in a tower sitting on the floor, both work great and I usually turn them on at least once a day to play Soliton, or Megaball. Sometimes I update my software database on PenPal. On the A4000 it is best to use it at least once a day, this keeps its old electronics moving, otherwise I have to turn it on and let it run for half a day before it will feel like working.

As far as putting on the internet, no, don't need no virus's.

Hi,

Oh I forgot,
My Amiga still see Persia's picture, makes some of the best whiskey in Pennsyltucky.

Got to watch out for them Bloomsburg cops though, they get angry when you disturb their donut breaks.

I had one of them stop me for doing 55 mph, he said it was aggresive driving, well you could see why, the fat donut eating slob probably couldn't drive his vehicle over 35, without feeling scared.
