Rogue says
http://www.os4depot.net/download.php?file=queue/timberwolf.lha
http://www.os4depot.net/download.php?file=queue/timberwolf_lha.readme
new beta version of Timberwolf to OS4depot.net (it popped up in the upload queue already, so if you want to grab it early, go get it).
Besides bug fixes, the new version implements some major new features:
- Drag & Drop support (customizing, bookmark sorting)
- Clipboard support (text only at the moment)
- Sound support (can now play video and audio streams)
- Some internal changes. NSPR threads completely rewritten to cope with NSPR's pecularities of condition variables.
The latter change is pretty fundamental, and even though I tested it substantially, I'm interested in seeing how it performs. Therefore, please report freezes or similar hangups as well, resp. add your findings to an existing bug on our bugtracker.
As always, donations are welcome on AmigaBounty.net (Click me, I'm a magical link)
IMPORTANT: Please also read the readme, it looks pretty and contains some vital information regarding the bookmark saving.
Have fun

Just got it, desperately slow on my SamFlex...
Surely got bug fixes & extra features, and the future looks promising.
Looking forward to using the final version (maybe replace OWB/MUIOWB?)!

Wow Awesome Rogue. The development process for TW has really sped up the last year. Exciting.
-
Posting from it now.. it is really shaping up! Very usable indeed on my XE-G4. I reckon I even prefer it to MUI-OWB.

Once hardware rendering is supported it will be the browser to use for os4 with no looking back.
Too bad the rest of the world are on FF 11 stream , doh!

Only 11? Come on man, I have 13.0.1 on my linux box :quickdraw:
-
How many numbers do they go through? They wee only on 6 when I left them for Chrome.

just installed the new version and it's a big improvement:) bookmarks work along with cut and paste. Youtube videos working albeit still choppy. Getting better & better :drink:

16.0a1 on my XP x64 box, here. :P
Hey, will this run on MorphOS with the OS4 API emulator?

No, TW relies on shared objects and probably other things not implemented in os4emu.
On the other hand, i'm not sure why you would want it, except maybe to watch Youtube in slideshow mode (i can add that option in OWB if it's really an essential feature :)).

Nah, it's really more curiosity and bragging -- you know, a Firefox derivative running on an Amiga-alike. YouTube slideshows are no big deal, as I don't even see most of that stuff on my Win machine thanks to several Firefox add-ons.
But then, the Webkit browser makes the iSchmucks raise their eyebrows. Or iBrowse... get it?! hahahahahahahahaha No, wait... that's dead :sealed:

Yeaaaah, 13.0.1 here...you do know Firefox updates are pushed out automatically, right?

They have a completely jacked-up numbering system that started after 4 was released. This is really 4.0..13. The builds are not that different.
