I've got a DKB Cobra accelerator here and I'm trying to install a 33Mhz 68882 PLCC FPU in it, however when inserted in the PLCC socket, the FPU seems to be undetected by SysInfo or WhichAmiga. Does anyone know how to enable it? I've set the FPU jumper to CPU, meaning it should run at the same speed as the 030, which runs at 28Mhz. The other position ALT is to use the second crystal for the FPU only, but since I've got none I couldn't utilize it.
Any tips?

@x56h34:
Try using some software requiring an FPU and see what happens.
Btw, I have wondered for some time now so I got to ask - what does your nick mean? ;)

The Cobra is able to utilize the FPU if it setup correctly. I do think SysInfo should read it but I know SysSpeed will so try it if you can. There's 2 jumpers on the card but I don't know if the other jumper is for FPU aswell or if it's something else. Worst case senario is that the FPU or you're Cobracard is dead... try another one and see if that works.

@patrik:
My nick doesn't mean anything. It's just random numbers and letters which I picked since every other nick I picked so far has been succefully used by like a million other people on the net, so I said to hell with it...I'm picking something which is guaranteed to not be copied. :-)
Which program requires FPU? What is a good one for this test?
@Brian:
I'll try your suggestion and see what happens.

@x56h34:
The the first thing straight from memory is the beachball fpu test in aibb.

Rats, it was the FPU chip itself that was faulty. Tried it in another accelerator and I can confirm now that the chip is DOA.
