mmm, I found that this morning as I'm in Australia...

then researched it, and found the interface isn't scsi, or ide, its some special interface used only in that device...

handy...

Always found Aussie Ebay too expensive, kind of strange that I can get things from Germany/UK and the US via Ebay cheaper.

Maybe they don't have a camera... Laughs!

Have you noticed the seller has photos for everything but the A570... The box must look really bad!

Up here it is early summer, and a traditionally bad selling period for computer stuff. I don't know what to say about Australia, but that auction is nuts!
I just bought a couple 4.5Gb SCSI hard drives for $12.00 each.
Some times ebay is worth a laugh or two....

How much is an A570 worth these days? considering it is the only way to get to use a CD-ROM with the A500 or A1000 in reality?

Its certainly not the only way.

I have an A590 that I've simply connected an external scsi cd (burner) to.

And I'm sure there are other ways too, IDE interface?
