Title: changing luck
Post by: motrucker on June 18, 2012, 03:19:54 PM
Man, I had to send to the UK for this one, but I found a mint copy of Chaos Engine. Now I don't have to fight with the CD32 emulation to play this beast. Even with the shipping from the UK, it was not a bad deal.

I've got the 6 character cards from this in a frame hanging in my man-cave. Class :)

edit - Just had to say 'Node Activated!'

Maybe I should frame my set. My grandchildren say my room is like a time warp back to 1885, with all the Amiga, Sega and Nintendo stuff around.
I also just landed a GODs cartridge for my Genesis. It seems to play faster than the Amiga version.
If you can't tell, I like the Bitmap Bros....

Good old 1885. That was the classic era of video games. :D

Actually that's a good typo for this thread, It's about the year The Chaos Engine was set in!
@motrucker  Do you have a Babbage difference engine in your room too?

Damn, I didn't notice that typo. I'm not going to change though - You all know it should read.

Do they play with the machines? Most kids that I know that use xbox/ps3 when they come to my studio LOVE the amiga games more than the crap xbox stuff. Especially the joysticks and the cutsie games.  They also really like MAME arcade games a lot.

My grandkids are 14 & 17. The 17 year old has his own X-Box 360 BUT he still enjoys All of the older stuff. They are all Bitmap Bros fans too. Quite often the Sega Genesis controllers end up being used in the Amigas too.
Oh BTW - all together there are 9 kids in the house. And they all love Amigas (finally)......
