Title: Stuck floppy in drive inside A3000
Post by: WeiXing3D on June 09, 2012, 04:26:15 PM
I have a stuck floppy inside the internal floppy drive of my A3000 (desktop). Is there anyway to pull it out (eject) without damaging the unit any further? I just got my 3000 yesterday but it came with a broken eject button.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Take the case apart. It is only held by five screws

Go to page 52 if you need help.

Thanks. Forgive my ignorance, is it possible to operate the floppy unit without the eject button?

If its just the eject button thats broken off you should just be able to push the metal tab the button slides on to using a screwdriver or something. Take a pic maybe if you're not sure.
