I really need a 2091 card, with new-ish ROMs to finally get my 2000HD up and running. Does anyone have one for a fairly poor, old Amiga user?
Should be in the U.S. due to shipping costs.
Will pay via Paypal very quickly. Help....

Probably doesn't help, but I have an A2090a listed here (http://amiga.serveftp.net/inventory.xgi) under Amiga acessories.
I expect that you want the 2091 as it also does memory expansion while the 2090 is only a SCSI/ST506 controller.
More information about it here (http://amiga.serveftp.net/A4000_HardwareGuide/a2090ref.html).

I know I have at least one I could part with, probably not with any ram installed. I'm in the USA.

I am not new to the Amiga. Been in it since 1986. But I lost everything I had.
The 2090 is no solution. They stink, to be polite. The 2091 is slow, and has some known problems, but all in all they work rather well, specially in a 2000 chassis.
Thank you much for the thought though...

I'm looking for one in europe, it's been 4 months since I got scammed over one and I have an A1500 thats ready and waiting.

Thanks to Jeff (Many thanks, actually!) my 2000HD is alive and kicking with a new (to me) 2091 card. It's back to working like a brand new 2000!
There seem to be loads of articles on how slow these are when used in an A4000. Well, they work quite well in an A2000/ 2000HD.

Nice! So how did you loose all your Amiga stuff?
