Holy obsolete technology Batman!

I still have one of those notchers around here somewhere, but mine is a godawful orange color.
-
LOL. Even when we could buy them new for a couple of quid we all still used a pair of scissors instead, didn't we? Didn't we? OK, I did. :D
-
Used a soldering iron :)
-
USD 59?!?!?!?!? Are these things collectable now too?
-
I actually had one of those back in the day. Seeing how I never throw anything away, its probably in a box somewhere!
-
bah! Only wimps used those notchers back in the day in my neighbourhood:lol:
we used plain writing paper notchers
-
Nail clippers worked too.

So does a hole punch
-
Yeah, hole punch here.
But I had a friend who had a disk notcher.
I have to admit that during those floppy ..er..um.. "archiving sessions" we had, the disk notcher was pretty nice to have.
Hole punch was great for a disk here or there, but 30+ in a night, the notcher came in handy..
But it was like $10 or something, and I'd rather have spent that on blank floppies...
..
for archiving..

Still use a plain $2 hole punch here. I saw that yesterday.
-
Ah, so that's what a disk notcher does! I only have about 10 minutes' experience with 5.25" floppy disks.

Stop dissing WB1.3!

Would an ice pick have worked?
